VIRA© is the Event Management Division of Hangar51 Software. Vira stands for 'Virtual Race Assstant' and is a combination web-service/on-site results processing utility for fitness events. Events that we specialize in are road races, nordic ski races, snow shoe races, mountain bike races, and high school and college cross-country meets.

The parent company for VIRA©, Hangar51 Software© was founded by Bob & Gina Schneider in 2002. Bob is a teacher/former competitive runner and Gina is a technology marketing director.

VIRA© processes results on site, posts results free of charge, and hosts online participant registration and payment whether we host that event's results processing or not.
